Publisher Justdan has announced that its debut self-developed action RPG Roguelike, Dinghai, will participate in the Steam Next Fest starting October 20. The title, which draws inspiration from the Classic of Mountains and Seas and the legend of Yu the Great, is currently scheduled for a 2026 release.

The game features a dual-weapon combat system allowing players to switch between five weapon types during encounters. This mechanic integrates with Roguelike elements to facilitate unique build creation. The 2.0 demo version, debuting at the festival, introduces the new He-Yang stage, the boss Xing-Tian, and the water-element dual blades known as Duan-Shui, which provide fast-paced combos and crowd control effects.

Technical enhancements for the demo include support for 4K resolution, customizable key bindings, and improved map navigation. These adjustments aim to refine the overall control responsiveness and visual fidelity. Additionally, the demo supports save data inheritance, allowing players to carry their progress forward into the final game.

A second promotional trailer has been released to showcase the game's high-intensity combat, emphasizing fluid weapon combos and the impact of boss encounters against mythological entities. The trailer highlights the strategic depth of the combat system, where players must adapt to rapid offensive and defensive shifts to succeed.
