Cygames has officially launched a demo for Where the Seed Falls, the inaugural title from its new brand, CygamesEdge. This dramatic collapse action-adventure game is scheduled for a full release on November 5 across multiple platforms, including PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam.
The game is set in a world where humanity built civilization atop a world tree. Players follow a man who has lost everything as he encounters the Child of Calamity, a figure bringing destruction to the world, and embarks on a journey toward the surface.
The demo focuses on the title's core descending action mechanics, offering a high-difficulty experience that lasts between 15 and 30 minutes. Players begin with various actions already unlocked to test the gameplay. In the full version, the main story is expected to last approximately 3 hours, with additional actions becoming available as the player progresses.
Alongside the demo, CygamesEdge released a final trailer on its official YouTube channel, showcasing the game's world and actual gameplay footage. The brand aims to produce unique titles by prioritizing diverse ideas and rapid execution without restricting development styles or genres.
