Key information
Developer SIGONO has launched a playable demo for its upcoming PC adventure title, "Kemono-tachi no Kamikiriya." The studio is also preparing to showcase the project during the Steam Next Fest event, which begins on October 20.
In this game, players manage a barbershop in a city populated by various beast-folk. The core gameplay involves styling hair by selecting front and back cuts, while simultaneously engaging in conversations to learn about customers' personal troubles. These interactions and the quality of the haircut influence the narrative outcome, with poor performance potentially leading to an early conclusion.
Ahead of the upcoming event, the development team refined the Japanese text. By incorporating native speakers, the studio aimed to improve the natural flow of the dialogue and better convey the charm of the world and its characters.
While the publisher, known for the "OPUS" series which reached over 10 million downloads, is actively developing the title, the final release date and pricing remain unannounced.
