Microsoft has introduced new cloud gaming options for Xbox that do not require a console or a Game Pass subscription. This initiative, currently available to Xbox Insiders, aims to broaden access to the company's gaming services by offering more flexible choices for potential players.

The service allows users to purchase specific blocks of cloud gaming time. Current pricing for this preview phase includes 10 hours for 3,99 dollars, 25 hours for 7,99 dollars, and 50 hours for 11,99 dollars. These paid tiers ensure an ad-free experience for the user.

In addition to the paid time-based model, Xbox is planning a free, ad-supported option for cloud access. To utilize this feature without a Game Pass subscription, players must own the specific games they intend to stream on compatible devices.

While the cloud gaming feature is currently in a preview state for Xbox Insiders, the company intends to roll out these options to the general public starting in November. Interested users can join the Xbox Insider program to test the functionality before the wider release.
