Hypergryph and GRYPHLINE launched the "All Things Renewed" special scout for Arknights: Endfield on October 15. The new operator, Sue, is classified as a supporter but functions effectively as a hybrid attacker. She specializes in enhancing teams utilizing Frost and Scorch damage types.
Sue’s combat mechanics revolve around her skill, which applies a 20-second "Brush Intent" effect that records a portion of damage dealt to enemies, releasing it later as fixed damage. Her kit also includes a high-multiplier combo attack triggered when Frost or Scorch effects are consumed. Additionally, her ultimate provides a significant damage amplification of up to 36% and reduces cooldowns for the first-placed operator's combo attacks.
Effective operation requires including an operator capable of consuming elemental applications to trigger Sue's combo attacks. Players must also carefully consider the first-placed operator, as this choice dictates the elemental application type of Sue's skill and determines which character benefits from her ultimate's cooldown reduction.
Arknights: Endfield is currently available as a free-to-play title on PC, PS5, iOS, and Android. Sue is positioned as a versatile unit whose damage amplification and unique damage-recording mechanics are expected to remain relevant for future team compositions.
