Key information
North Fox Games, a two-person indie development team based in Hokkaido, has announced that their 3D party game Super Gahaku will be released on PC via Steam on November 4. The game supports up to 8 players, focusing on creative expression rather than artistic skill.
In Super Gahaku, players construct 3D objects by stacking parts to represent specific prompts. The core gameplay involves guessing what other players have created. While the controls are simple, the developer notes that intended designs often result in unexpected, humorous outcomes, such as a cat becoming an unrecognizable creature or a car turning into a large box.
The game features three modes: "Make and Guess," "Drawing Werewolf," and "Free Build." The developer warns that high-speed, simultaneous creation by many players may cause rendering performance to slow down. Additionally, players can customize their characters to represent themselves as they compete or collaborate.
A demo is currently available on Steam and will remain accessible until October 27 at 2:00 AM. The title will also participate in the Steam Next Fest. While the final product is undergoing adjustments, the developer has invited players to join their Discord server for closed testing of modes like Drawing Werewolf prior to the November 4 launch.
