Key information

In the latest edition of Now Gaming, contributors shared their experiences with various titles. Hideaki Fujiwara explored the test PvE mode in ARC Raiders, while Kosuke Takenaka tested the new character A.K.I. (referred to as Arjun) in Street Fighter 6. Ayuo Kawase highlighted the demo for the train-based mystery game Quiet Express Room 909.

Regarding ARC Raiders, Fujiwara noted that while he previously desired a PvE mode, the implementation lacks tension. Without player-versus-player combat, the world feels less engaging, and the absence of enemy players leads to a lack of urgency at extraction points. Conversely, Kawase praised the demo for Quiet Express Room 909, specifically citing its unique atmosphere and the beautiful, chill experience of traveling on a train while investigating mysteries.

In Street Fighter 6, Takenaka described the new character Arjun as chaotic. While he noted that the character's standing medium punch has a slow 11-frame startup, making ground combat difficult, he found the character's aggressive moves and visual design to be fresh and satisfying to execute.

These titles are available on various platforms, including PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as consoles like the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The developers continue to refine these experiences, with some features currently in testing phases or subject to further adjustments.
