Developer Bing Bing Studio and publisher HARRISONWORLD have announced that their rural simulation title, Revive Hot Spring Town!, will enter Steam Early Access on December 7. The game invites players to experience a nostalgic Japanese countryside setting, where they can take on the role of a girl on summer vacation or a town mayor tasked with revitalizing the local community.
The gameplay focuses on a relaxed lifestyle, allowing users to engage in activities such as insect catching, fishing, farming, and cooking. Players can influence the town's development through their choices, gradually transforming the quiet hot spring village. Beyond land-based tasks, the game introduces a diving mechanic, enabling players to explore underwater environments and discover a different side of the coastal summer scenery.
The atmosphere emphasizes a slow-paced experience, featuring scenic views of golden rice fields, sunset vistas, and evening festivals complete with fireworks. Players are encouraged to wander through the countryside at their own pace, free from the pressures of urban life, while interacting with local residents to foster the town's growth.
Ahead of the December release, the title is participating in the October Steam Next Fest. A playable demo is currently available for those interested in getting an early look at the game's mechanics and summer-themed environment before the official Early Access launch on Steam.
