Developer Mipumi Games and publishers rokaplay select and Shochiku Games announced that the cooperative digging adventure A Game About Digging A Hole Together will release on December 4 (CEST). The title will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, with a launch inclusion on Xbox Game Pass.
The sequel expands on the minimalist original title by DoubleBee, which focused on digging in a garden to sell items for equipment upgrades. This new entry introduces multiplayer support, allowing up to four friends to dig, collect resources, and search for legendary treasures buried deep underground.
The development team has overhauled the core loop of digging, selling, and upgrading based on player feedback and analysis. These improvements aim to provide a more stable and fluid experience while adding increased depth, diverse terrain, additional tools, and new secrets to uncover.
The game supports cross-platform play for its four-player online cooperative mode. Players can choose from 14 languages, including Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, English, and Korean, as they attempt to reach the bottom of the map to discover what lies beneath.
