CD Projekt has announced a significant update for Cyberpunk 2077 to coincide with the October 20 release of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 on Netflix. This patch introduces new missions, cyberware options, and customization features designed to encourage players to return to Night City.
Gameplay additions include a new dual-wielding combat style and over 40 new cyberware variants. Players can access the 'Clampdown' mission after completing 'The Heist' and two Wakako gigs, while the 'Welcome to paradise!' narrative tour requires reaching reputation level 15. Additionally, the update adds the HKGN 102.0 FM radio station featuring the series' soundtrack.
Visual customization is expanded with five 'Glamdocs' for hand cyberware and new clothing items. Technical improvements include DLSS 4.5 support, various quality-of-life adjustments, and bug fixes.
The update arrives October 22 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series consoles, with a later release planned for Nintendo Switch 2. Notably, CD Projekt is introducing cross-platform mod support via mod.io for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 2 users.
