Builder Björn Ramant has unveiled a massive LEGO sculpture of Derpy, the blue tiger from the film Las Guerreras K-pop. Developed in partnership with LEGO and Netflix, the project features approximately 37,000 bricks and is currently a major attraction at LEGO World 2026 in Utrecht.
The construction process spanned two and a half months, involving extensive design planning and assembly. To ensure structural integrity for the large-scale figure, Ramant integrated four internal metal bars. A time-lapse video documenting the layer-by-layer creation of the sculpture has also been released.
The sculpture captures the character's signature blue fur, dark spots, yellow eyes, and fangs. While the piece is on public display in Utrecht, there are no current plans to release it as a commercial set. Conversely, a smaller official set titled Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird, consisting of 825 pieces, is available for purchase.
This project highlights the ongoing expansion of the Las Guerreras K-pop franchise, which includes various merchandise like comics and art books. The film's success continues to influence new creative endeavors while fans await news regarding a potential sequel.
