Line Games has officially scheduled the early access release of its new survivor-like title, Ember and Blade, for January 8, 2027. The game will be available to players on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The PC title features distinct visual aesthetics and fast-paced combat mechanics focused on annihilating waves of enemies. Following its initial reveal in 2024, the developers refined the experience based on user feedback, culminating in the recent release of a redesigned combat system known as Demo 2.0.
Ember and Blade previously achieved high rankings in the hack-and-slash and action RPG categories during last year's Steam Next Fest. Furthermore, the game secured the top spot among demos on the Epic Games Store. Plans are already in motion to expand the service to console platforms, including PlayStation and Xbox.
Leading up to the early access launch, Line Games intends to participate in global gaming events. These efforts aim to increase player engagement while the development team continues to focus on enhancing the overall quality and completion of the game.
