The anime adaptation of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, titled The Calamity, has released a new promotional trailer. This fourth installment of the series, based on Tite Kubo's manga, depicts the climactic conflict between Ichigo Kurosaki and Yhwach's quincy forces, which threatens the stability of all worlds.
The production committee previously delayed the final episodes to ensure higher quality. Consequently, episode 49 is scheduled for broadcast on October 19 in Japan and October 20 internationally, while episode 50 will follow on October 26 in Japan and October 27 globally.
A special screening event is planned for October 25 in Tokyo. This gathering will feature Tite Kubo alongside voice actors Masakazu Morita and Noriaki Sugiyama to discuss the series' conclusion prior to the final episode's release.
The current season features the opening theme I-BULL by jo0ji and the ending theme Rase by 9Lana. The series, which resumed in 2022 after a decade-long hiatus, is available for streaming on Disney+.
