Leaked footage has surfaced online depicting a reportedly cancelled Assassin's Creed title titled Assassin's Creed Destiny. This project was allegedly in development at the Tencent-owned TiMi Studio Group for current platforms.
The clips, which originated from developer portfolios, feature a prototype dated February 2025. The game is set in 206 BCE, following a female assassin infiltrating a palace to recover an artifact while facing the warlord Xiang Yu.
Gameplay mechanics showcased in the footage include traditional series staples like the leap of faith and stealth kills. Additionally, a male character is seen performing parkour, while another segment demonstrates a unique umbrella-style spinning weapon alongside ink-brush ability icons.
While Ubisoft previously mentioned several projects in development, the status of this specific title remains uncertain. This news follows recent company announcements regarding the proposed closure of RedLynx and staff reductions at Ubisoft Singapore.
