Netmarble has officially commenced a user test for its upcoming cooperative action title, Evilbane, on the Steam platform. The game, which expands upon the dark fantasy universe established in the Raven intellectual property, tasks players with joining a special unit dedicated to humanity's reconstruction against the demon legions of the Red King.
The core gameplay loop involves squads of up to four players entering battlefields to complete specific missions. Participants earn rewards through these tasks, which are then utilized to strengthen their characters for more challenging objectives. The experience features third-person perspective combat that allows players to fluidly switch between melee and ranged attacks, with mission outcomes impacting the broader game world.
During this testing phase, users have access to character customization options and a total of 13 distinct operations. The test is currently open to the public, and interested players can participate by selecting the request access button directly on the game's Steam page.
The testing period is scheduled to conclude on the 19th. While Netmarble has confirmed that the title will provide official support for the Korean language, the developer has not yet announced a specific release date for the final version of the game.
