Leakers have suggested that Honkai Star Rail may introduce a new mechanic called Ex-Eidolon for three existing characters. While the game is currently in version 4.6, this feature is speculated to arrive in version 4.7.
Ex-Eidolon functions as an additional power-up, effectively acting as an E7 to significantly enhance the capabilities of five-star characters. According to leaker Full Stop Chan, this system is intended for Acheron, Jing Yuan, and Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae.
Reports indicate that players might receive one of these special Eidolons and a five-star character for free. However, the remaining two upgrades would likely be locked behind paid events, such as Oneiric Shard top-ups or direct purchases.
These details remain unverified rumors. Readers are advised to treat this information with caution, as HoYoverse may implement changes before any official release.
