Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially announced the launch of its cloud streaming service for PS5 titles in South Korea, scheduled for October 28.
Starting October 21, the existing PlayStation Plus Deluxe plan will transition to the Premium tier. Current Deluxe members will be automatically upgraded to this new plan without incurring any additional costs.
Premium members gain access to streaming for over 300 titles from the game catalog, including games like Ghost of Tsushima and FINAL FANTASY XVI, alongside thousands of owned digital PS5 games. On PS5 consoles, the service supports streaming up to 4K at 60Hz, while the PlayStation Portal allows for 1080p at 60fps streaming. However, the service is restricted to digital PS5 games, excluding PS4, PS3, and PS VR2 titles.
To celebrate the local launch, PlayStation is offering a complimentary set of 10 Black Desert PlayStation Plus avatars to users in South Korea.
