Aspyr Media has officially confirmed the development of a remaster for the 2004 title Shrek 2: The Game. This announcement follows an premature listing on Xbox.com, setting the stage for a November 10 release date.
The updated version introduces enhanced graphics alongside new features, specifically a Photo Mode and a Cheat Mode. Players can experience the game solo or engage in co-op with up to three friends, supporting both local and online play with characters like Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey.
The title is scheduled to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Switch, and Switch 2. It carries a standard price of $30, though a discounted rate of $27 is available for those who choose to prepurchase the game.
