A Japanese independent VTuber named Noranuko released a free web-based game titled Shinsashitsu on the 15th. In this title, players assume the role of a doctor tasked with deciding whether to grant euthanasia requests for 10 distinct patients.
The gameplay involves reviewing medical records and personal statements from individuals suffering from various conditions, including fictional ailments like irreversible sleep disorders or progressive memory collapse. Players must choose whether to approve or deny each request, ultimately receiving feedback based on their specific decisions.
Noranuko, who debuted in May, is a self-sufficient creator who handles his own illustration and Live2D modeling. He is also developing another title, Kochira Mahou Shoujo Kyumei Geka, which tasks players with managing limited medical resources at a hospital for injured magical girls.
In the upcoming game, players must weigh medical evidence and external factors to determine the fate of patients, with decisions impacting hospital reputation and one of 11 possible endings. Kochira Mahou Shoujo Kyumei Geka is scheduled for release on October 27. Both titles are currently limited to Japanese and English language support.
