Rebel Wolves has announced the 1.1 update for The Blood of Dawnwalker, arriving next week on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Following the game's initial launch, this patch introduces significant gameplay adjustments and technical refinements to address player feedback.
Key gameplay additions include the Draught of Mind Rebirth, which allows players to reset their Mastery skills in Swordplay, Witchery, and Vampirism. Additionally, the update introduces a new Story mode with combat assistance, alongside the ability to pet cats and dogs using the directional combat system.
Combat and traversal mechanics receive substantial updates, including improved target locking, camera behavior, and responsiveness for Shadowstep and Planeshift abilities. Technical enhancements feature an updated FrameGen technology, camera animation adjustments, and over 1,100 additional fixes.
Despite these improvements, the update notably excludes the promised New Game+ mode, leaving PC players reliant on community mods and console players waiting. Furthermore, the Japanese Steam version will now feature uncensored gore, and subtitle options have been expanded for better accessibility.
