Nintendo has released a new promotional video in Japan for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. The 30-second clip highlights the appearance of Dark Link, marking the character's first reveal for the Nintendo Switch 2 title.
The trailer adopts a darker tone, opening with Ganondorf playing an organ before transitioning to various Hyrule regions and enemies. Dark Link appears briefly at the 15-second mark, providing fans with an initial look at his updated visual design for the remake.
In the original 1998 Nintendo 64 release, Dark Link served as a mysterious antagonist within the Water Temple. The enemy is known for mimicking the protagonist's abilities and movements, creating a challenging duel that remains unexplained regarding the character's origins.
Launching exclusively on November 5, 2026, for the Nintendo Switch 2, the remake features modernized controls, an orchestrated soundtrack, and completely overhauled graphics. The release also includes new, previously unannounced gameplay features.
