Key information

Peak, the viral cooperative climbing game developed by Aggro Crab and Evil Landfall, is officially heading to consoles. Following its success on Steam, the title is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2 on October 22, 2026.

The gameplay centers on a group of up to four players attempting to scale a massive, ever-changing mountain to signal for rescue. The mountain layout resets every 24 hours, contributing to the game's reputation for being both unpredictable and relentless.

In addition to the console launch, the developers are introducing cross-play support for the PC version starting next week. The game has received consistent updates since its initial release, culminating in the August launch of the "The Final Ascent" content update.

Skybound Games will release a physical edition for PlayStation 5 on December 9, 2026, priced at 19.99 euros. This package includes the game disc, a digital code for a friend, a customizable passport, and all major updates, including "The Final Ascent" and the "Gloom" and "The Citadel" biomes.
