Key information

Xbox is strengthening its commitment to Latin American game developers through the ID@XBOX Developer Acceleration Program and the expansion of Xbox Game Camp. Since 2023, the program has assisted over 60 studios across countries including Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina, facilitating the release of more than 30 culturally distinct titles on Xbox platforms.

To further foster local talent, Xbox Game Camp will debut in Mexico City on October 17. This event, coinciding with Xbox’s 25th anniversary, offers developers seminars and networking opportunities with industry leaders, such as Mojang Studios' Jens Bergensten, to help them refine their craft and reach global audiences.

Several upcoming titles highlight the region's creative diversity. For instance, Halberd Studios' Mariachi Legends features a unique culinary mechanic and Day/Night cycle, while Coffeenauts' GHOSTLESS utilizes 'hi-fi pixel art' to explore sci-fi themes. Other notable projects include the puzzle-platformer Colorbound from Chile, the cyberpunk adventure Sky Dust from Brazil, the cozy simulator Treetopians from Argentina, and the co-op Metroidvania Greak 2: Alliance of the Storms from Mexico.

Developers report that the Developer Acceleration Program has been vital for their success. Studios cited financial support, technical assistance for Xbox Series X|S, and marketing amplification as key factors that allowed them to maintain cultural authenticity while ensuring their games reach a wider player base through platforms like Xbox Game Pass.
