Rockstar Games is currently finalizing GTA 6 ahead of its scheduled release this November. Despite the approaching launch, the studio remains actively engaged in adjusting and polishing the title to meet its internal quality standards.

Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier reported that the development process faced no major crises or severe difficulties. Instead, the extended timeline was necessary because the game's massive open world proved challenging to assemble into a cohesive experience.

Phil Hooker, the studio's technology director, confirmed that Rockstar avoids rigid planning. The team has continued to adapt and modify various game elements throughout the final months of production to ensure the desired level of quality.

While late-stage changes are common in the industry, these final refinements typically involve balancing systems and fixing bugs. Players can expect these last-minute improvements to be delivered via a Day One patch to optimize the experience upon release.
