Key information
NVIDIA has announced the global availability of RTX Spark laptops, a new line of slim Windows PCs designed for gaming, creation, and local AI tasks. These devices are rolling out from manufacturers including ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, and MSI, with prices starting at $2,599.
The hardware is powered by a single superchip that integrates an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU with an NVIDIA Grace CPU. This architecture supports up to 128 GB of unified memory and provides 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance. MediaTek collaborated on the custom CPU design to optimize power efficiency and connectivity.
RTX Spark laptops enable users to run personal AI agents locally, such as GitHub Copilot, Hermes, and Perplexity, without needing a command line. The system includes the NVIDIA OpenShell secure runtime and Microsoft Execution Containers to manage agent permissions and tool integration, including NVIDIA Broadcast and RTX Remix.
For creative and gaming workflows, the platform supports NVIDIA technologies like DLSS 5, ray tracing, and Reflex. Adobe is providing native support for applications like Photoshop and Premiere through beta releases. Additionally, the devices allow developers to code, test, and prototype on a single machine using native CUDA support and Windows Subsystem for Linux.
