Audio specialist company Sori has introduced the BoomBox TV karaoke set, model AVMX-1000, designed to create high-quality karaoke environments at home or outdoors. The product is currently available through a crowdfunding project on the platform Wadiz.
The device functions as an A/V mixer that combines microphone audio with backing tracks from smart TVs, set-top boxes, or mobile devices. It utilizes existing soundbars or audio systems to produce immersive sound quality. The hardware features a compact design suitable for living room setups or portable use during outdoor gatherings.
The system is designed for cost-effectiveness, allowing users to purchase the unit and subscribe to popular karaoke apps for a monthly fee of 4,000 to 5,000 won. This model aims to lower entry barriers compared to expensive commercial karaoke machines that require high upfront costs and ongoing update fees.
The included wireless microphones feature a built-in DSP chip to reduce latency, noise, and howling. Additionally, the device offers advanced echo and reverb technology, along with voice changer functions that include settings for men, women, children, and monsters to enhance home party entertainment.
