Mahalagang impormasyon

Riot Games is updating the map Sunset in Valorant via patch 13.08. This rework follows over a year of data collection and analysis of player behavior. The changes aim to shorten defensive rotation paths, address structural issues in mid-map skirmishes, and adjust the spike planting zone on A site.

Defensive rotations between sites have been modified to reduce travel time. Previously, defenders struggled to reach the opposite site in time to stop attackers or retake the area. By adjusting paths from the defender spawn to the rear of A and B sites, the developers intend to provide defenders with more opportunities to regroup and attempt retakes safely.

Mid-map combat is being overhauled by changing the material of a low wall to metal and shifting its position approximately 1m toward the attacker spawn. This prevents wall-bang shots and allows attackers to reach the A connector without exposing themselves. Additionally, crate placements and wall heights in the lower mid area have been adjusted to limit sightlines and alter available cover.

Finally, the A site spike planting zone is being modified to reduce the effectiveness of specific post-plant strategies that relied on holding angles from the A connector. These comprehensive changes to map geometry and site layouts are designed to broaden tactical options for both teams and shift how matches are operated in practice.
