On October 16, 2026, Alliance Arts announced the cancellation of the public demo for the Russian roulette drinking survival game Pukey Goddess Shot Trick. Originally scheduled for October 19, the release has been shifted to a closed trial format with limited participants.
The game features a high-stakes psychological battle against a demon named Fam-Sur, voiced by Nanahira. Players engage in a dangerous drinking game where the goal is to force the opponent to vomit their soul. The title has gained significant attention due to the character's expressive animations and appealing visual design.
The developer cited two primary reasons for the change. First, they determined that their current operational structure could not adequately manage or restrict the posting and streaming of gameplay videos. Second, they expressed concerns regarding the potential for AI-generated imitations or recreations based on the demo's content.
Interested players can now apply for the closed trial through a form available on the official Discord server. Participants will be selected via a lottery system, and further instructions are provided within the community channel.
