Leaked footage has surfaced online depicting a prototype for a cancelled project titled Assassin’s Creed Destiny. Reports indicate this title was intended for PC and console platforms, distinguishing it from the mobile-focused Assassin’s Creed Jade.

According to MP1st, the project was developed by Tencent Games subsidiary TiMi Studio Group. The game was reportedly set during the Qin Dynasty in 206 BCE, featuring a female protagonist infiltrating a palace besieged by the warlord Xiang Yu to secure a mysterious artifact.

The project was allegedly cancelled due to Tencent's strategic shift to reduce involvement with major Western franchises, aiming to avoid significant royalty fees associated with such collaborations.

While Assassin’s Creed Jade remains in development without a confirmed release date, players seeking a China-based experience can currently access the 2.5D title Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, which is set during the Ming dynasty.
