Key information
As Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 nears its conclusion, speculation has intensified regarding the theme of the upcoming annual mini-season. While Epic Games has not issued an official announcement, rumors suggest the event may feature the manga and anime series One Piece.
Data miners investigating the latest game files discovered a pirate chest and a new lore loading screen. The image depicts characters Jonesy and Hope falling through a reality rift alongside the chest, with Jonesy sitting on a barrel. This visual has drawn comparisons to an iconic scene from the second chapter of the One Piece manga where Luffy appears in a barrel.
These findings have fueled community theories about the transition period between chapters. Previous mini-seasons have utilized specific themes, such as last year's The Simpsons collaboration, which introduced a modified map and themed cosmetics.
The current season is scheduled to end on Nov. 1, with the subsequent mini-season beginning on that same date. This transition will replace the existing island, weapons, and mechanics as the game moves toward Chapter 8.
