Social media users have captured images of these cars, which include a Corvette modified to resemble the Coquette model from Vice City. Additionally, a Lamborghini featuring the specific paint scheme of the Vice Beach Police was observed traveling alongside the Coquette.
While the Coquette is directly inspired by the real-world Corvette, the Lamborghini serves as an example of how Rockstar utilizes existing sports cars as design foundations for the series. The vehicles were spotted displaying Leonida license plates to further align with the game's setting.
This street-level campaign complements previous promotional efforts by the developer. Rockstar has previously utilized a blimp branded with Vice City imagery and secured advertising space at a stadium to build anticipation for the title.
