Rockstar Games is expanding its marketing presence in Miami by transforming a restaurant at the Kaseya Center into a real-life version of Burger Shot. This iconic fast-food chain from the Grand Theft Auto franchise now features Vice City posters and branding within the home arena of the Miami Heat.
While the in-game restaurant is known for satirical, unhealthy menu items like the seven-patty Heartstopper, it remains uncertain if the physical location will mirror these offerings. Reports suggest the rebranding is primarily decorative, serving as a promotional tie-in for the upcoming title.
The collaboration extends beyond food, as the Miami Heat will rebrand as the Vice City Heat for a game on November 18. Players will utilize a themed court and wear special jerseys. Additionally, Rockstar has installed a $975,000 neon sign atop the arena and deployed branded sports cars throughout the city.
These promotional efforts precede the official release of GTA 6, which is scheduled for November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. While a PC version is rumored for early next year, current marketing remains focused on the Miami area.
