Key information
Nintendo has unveiled two new commercials for the upcoming Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which is scheduled for release on November 5, 2026.
This title serves as a full remake of the original NINTENDO 64 classic. The updated version features overhauled graphics and introduces gameplay enhancements, such as the addition of jump controls, to modernize the experience for players.
The Battle commercial highlights intense combat sequences and features Ganondorf playing the pipe organ. Meanwhile, the Ocarina commercial showcases cutscenes involving the titular instrument and depicts Link exploring various dungeons and landscapes.
International media previews have already praised the game, with reports suggesting that the remake breathes new life into Hyrule rather than serving as a strictly faithful recreation. The game will be available for 8,980 yen for the physical edition and 7,980 yen for the digital version.
