Sega and developer Sports Interactive have released a new blog post detailing upcoming features for Football Manager 27. The title is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Mac, and via Netflix.
The manager creation tool receives significant updates, including improved facial features, beard rendering, and hair physics. Players can now customize their avatars with new clothing options like knit hats, scarves, and gloves, utilizing a re-introduced color picker. Additionally, the game allows users to select up to four favorite clubs before starting their career.
Accessibility and representation are expanded through the inclusion of wheelchair-using managers, with custom animations integrated into cutscenes and trophy ceremonies. Further accessibility improvements include larger font sizes and an option to disable UI animations. Meanwhile, generated players benefit from enhanced skin textures, lighting, and camera angles, providing more variety for youth intake prospects.
Football Manager 27 is currently available for wishlist registration on Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store. While the console version supports PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, only the PlayStation 5 edition will receive a physical release.
