Key information
Blizzard has officially announced an open stress test for World of Warcraft: Forever, allowing all players to access the beta version for free. Previously, participation was restricted to those who purchased the Cielonatos pack or received an invitation.
The test aims to evaluate server stability, as the final game will feature only four servers for an entire region: PvE, PvP, Roleplay, and Hardcore. This structure is expected to result in high player density across all areas.
The stress test begins on Monday, October 19, at 19:00 in Spain. Players can participate by installing the "World of Warcraft: Forever - Stress Test" option via the Battle.net launcher. No subscription or prior invitation is required, though the beta will be temporarily offline before the start time for maintenance.
All progress made during this period will be deleted when the beta concludes on October 21. The official worldwide launch of World of Warcraft: Forever is scheduled for November 4, with name reservations for pre-purchase pack owners beginning on October 27.
