Key information
Developer Dream Dock and publisher Digital Vortex Entertainment have announced that DREADMOOR, a first-person survival and fishing adventure, will launch in Steam Early Access on November 9. The title has gained significant attention, ranking among the top 100 most wishlisted unreleased games on the platform.
Players navigate the cursed Sunken Lands using an old fishing boat to gather resources and survive. The core gameplay involves a specialized fishing system requiring players to select appropriate bait, manage the line, and time their catches carefully. Players must also manage their cargo, as certain carnivorous mutant creatures can consume others if stored together in the hold.
Beyond fishing, the experience includes exploring lakes and canals to scavenge shipwrecks for materials. These items are used to upgrade the vessel, craft stronger rods, and acquire new bait. Survival requires constant vigilance over fuel levels and hull integrity, as the environment is filled with dangerous entities that threaten the player.
DREADMOOR will be priced at 19,99 euros and includes Spanish text support. The early access version features the complete story and primary mechanics, with developers planning to remain in this phase for six to twelve months. A free demo is currently available via the Steam Next Fest.
