Developer Wombat Brawler has released a new trailer for Wild n Chill, a nature-focused survival game. The footage highlights the experience of building a cabin in the wilderness alongside a canine companion, surviving through winter, and gathering around a campfire with others.
Players must manage hunger, thirst, and energy levels while gathering resources like berries, wood, and fish. Survival involves crafting structures such as smokehouses, storage, and traps. The game features 11 distinct areas, including coastal regions, wetlands, and snowy peaks, each containing unique wildlife and resources.
The game supports solo play or cooperative multiplayer for up to four people. Cooperation allows players to divide tasks like hunting, fishing, and construction to improve efficiency. Players may also encounter NPCs in the wild who might trade useful items in exchange for supplies.
A loyal dog companion assists by retrieving prey, warning of danger, and providing comfort. Players can document over 40 animal species and 20 types of fish. Wild n Chill is planned for release on PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
