Key information
Newegg has reduced the price of a CyberPowerPC gaming desktop by $260, bringing the current cost to $2,259.49. This pre-built system is positioned as a solution for users looking to navigate ongoing price inflation for individual PC components.
The machine is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, an 8-core, 16-thread processor. While the publication notes the 9850X3D has recently surpassed it in speed, the 9800X3D remains their top recommendation for gaming due to its efficient power consumption and 96MB of 3D V-cache, which enhances frame rates.
Graphics are handled by the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT, a flagship GPU equipped with 64 RDNA 4 compute units and 16GB of VRAM. The publication reports that this card performs better than the RX 9070 and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070, though it trails the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 4080 in 4K benchmarks.
The build includes 32GB of DDR5 RAM, a 2TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD, a 1000W power supply, and a mid-range B850 motherboard. The system also features ARGB liquid cooling and includes a complimentary copy of Onimusha, valued at $69.99.
