SNK has announced that FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves is scheduled for release on October 22, 2026. The title will be available across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, with a specific digital release for the Nintendo Switch 2.
The game offers several purchase options, ranging from a Standard Edition to more comprehensive bundles like the Legend Edition and Revenge Edition, which include various Season Passes. For the Nintendo Switch 2, a Starter Edition is also planned, with a physical version slated for release in Japan on January 21, 2027, while other regions await further information.
The post-launch support strategy involves three Season Passes. Season Pass 1 and 2 feature a variety of DLC characters, such as Andy Bogard, Ken, and Terry's classic associates. Season Pass 3 includes characters like Rick Strowd, scheduled for July 2026, and others like Manjiro Sano and Ken Ryuguji, expected in October 2026.
Players should note that experiencing all game content requires an internet connection. Additionally, those purchasing the PlayStation 4 physical version are eligible for a free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version, provided they possess a console equipped with a disc drive.
