Sony Pictures has unveiled the second trailer for Ramayana: Rise of a Legend, a film starring Ranbir Kapoor. The footage provides an expanded perspective on the impending conflict between Lord Ram and the demon king Ravana.
The trailer depicts Ravana's ascent to power, characterizing him as a figure born from fire who forced deities to submit. Conversely, Lord Ram is presented as humanity's primary hope, with the preview showcasing his skirmishes against various rakshasas.
The production features an extensive cast, including Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. Additional roles are filled by Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, and Vivek Oberoi.
This project is structured as a two-part saga. The first installment is scheduled for a worldwide release on November 5, 2026, with the second part slated for Diwali 2027. The film will be available in English and several Indian languages.
