On October 15, FRONTIER GAMES launched a new free horror title titled Typing. The game is accessible via web browsers on both PC and smartphones, supporting standard keyboard inputs as well as smartphone flick input methods.
The core gameplay involves typing short sentences that appear on the screen. Once a player completes the input, the screen transitions to reveal the underlying meaning of the text. This design aims to evoke a slow-building sense of dread rather than relying on jump scares or sudden audio-visual shocks.
Typing features three distinct endings, and each session lasts under one minute, allowing players to experiment repeatedly. The developer notes that players can collect all endings by carefully reading in-game hints.
The project has gained significant attention, with the creator's announcement post reaching approximately 640万 views. It is positioned as a suitable experience for solo play during the night.
