Corsair has introduced the RM1200e, a new flagship addition to its RMe power supply series. This unit offers Platinum-certified efficiency and is designed to meet the demands of high-performance system builds.
A key feature of the RM1200e is the integration of PinProtect, a per-pin overcurrent protection system for the native 12V-2x6 connection. This technology monitors current flow in real time across six pins, automatically triggering a GPU shutdown if a preset threshold is exceeded to prevent potential hardware damage.
The power supply is Intel ATX 3.1 certified and PCIe 5.1 ready, featuring Japanese 105°C-rated capacitors for reliability. Despite its 1200 W output, the unit retains a compact 150 mm depth and includes a 3D Y-pattern fan grille for improved airflow and noise management.
The RM1200e is fully modular and comes with premium debossed cables and low-profile combs. It is available now in black or white finishes through Corsair's authorized retail network and is supported by a 10-year warranty.
