Nexon announced a collaboration between Mabinogi and the fantasy animation Witch Hat Atelier on October 16. The event is scheduled to run for approximately four weeks, concluding on November 12 before maintenance.
The update introduces story quests featuring characters like Coco, Qifrey, Agott, Tetia, and Riche, who arrive in the Mabinogi world due to a mysterious force. These quests will be released sequentially over four weeks. Completing the first week's quest rewards players with the 'Qifrey's Rescue Chair' item, which recreates a scene from the series.
Players can participate in daily quests and the 'Erin Marble' content to earn event currency. Additionally, the collaboration features miniature enhancement mechanics, allowing users to customize and install character miniatures in their Romantic Farm to gain stat boosts. Nexon is also providing various permanent buffs throughout the event period.
A wide range of collaboration items is available, including costume sets, beauty coupons, weapon appearance scrolls, and skill effect change cards. Event points can be exchanged for specific rewards such as character-themed outfits, hair and eye coupons, farm decorations, titles, and damage skins.
