BANDAI SPIRITS has provided an update regarding the E-prize cold-sensitive glass from the Splatoon 3 Third Edition Ichiban Kuji lottery. The company previously initiated a replacement program after reports indicated that the exterior designs on these glasses were peeling off during washing.
The manufacturer confirmed that the replacement process is currently underway, with shipments scheduled to begin sequentially starting in November. The company is processing these requests in the order they were received and continues to accept new replacement applications through their customer service inquiry form.
Regarding the cause of the defect, BANDAI SPIRITS clarified that the issue stemmed from their own production processes. The company explicitly stated that the copyright holders of the characters featured on the merchandise and the retail stores involved bear no responsibility for this manufacturing error.
The original product, which was released on August 22, 2026, faced a recall due to the design durability issues. Customers affected by the peeling graphics are encouraged to utilize the official support channels to secure their corrected replacement items.
