Key information
The television anime adaptation of the manga Kizuato to Bandage, originally created by Kaisei Nanai, is officially scheduled to begin broadcasting on January 9, 2027. The production team recently unveiled the first key visual and a teaser promotional video to mark the announcement.
The story follows a young yakuza leader named Kiriya, who is tasked by his boss to look after the boss's daughter, Rise Washizu. The narrative explores a unique dynamic as Rise possesses a specific fetish for vulnerability, often asking Kiriya to show her his weaker side. As Kiriya navigates these unusual requests, their relationship begins to evolve.
Official casting details confirm that Hisako Kanemoto will provide the voice for the protagonist Rise Washizu, while Chikahiro Kobayashi is set to portray the character Kiriya. These voice actors will bring the central pair to life as they deal with their complex interpersonal connection.
Following this initial reveal, the production committee plans to release additional promotional materials, including further visuals and trailers, over the next four consecutive weeks. The original manga series is currently licensed for publication in Taiwan by Kadokawa.
