Nintendo has unveiled a new location for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, scheduled for release on November 5 exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. The area, known as the Monster Coliseum, was showcased in a recent trailer.

The Monster Coliseum functions as a museum where players can view figures of defeated enemies and access detailed information about them, including descriptions and locations. Additionally, the space allows players to re-engage in combat with bosses, a feature that includes a timer to track performance.

While the ability to replay boss battles was previously featured in Ocarina of Time 3D for Nintendo 3DS, this version expands the concept by integrating a collection element similar to the Nintendo Gallery from The Wind Waker.

Beyond this secret area, the remake includes modernized controls, free camera movement, updated graphics, and a rearranged soundtrack. Furthermore, the game introduces new ocarina functions that utilize the Nintendo Switch 2 microphone.
