Nexon has launched a significant update for MapleStory M to commemorate the game's 10th anniversary, which occurred on October 13. The update introduces new gameplay mechanics and content, alongside plans for an offline celebration event.
The update adds the new Hexa Skill Core, known as the Ascent skill. This wide-area attack provides players with invincibility during use, enhancing survivability. In boss battles, the skill can be utilized up to three times without a cooldown period.
Players can now explore the new Arteria region within the Grandis continent, which features the massive warship of Apostle Reina. Access to this area is restricted to characters at level 282 or higher. Completing all regional quests rewards players with the Authentic Symbol: Arteria.
To mark the milestone, Nexon is hosting the 'MapleM Celebrat10n Day' offline event on October 17 at the Maple Agit in Gangnam, Seoul. Additionally, various in-game events, such as the 'Ursa Expedition' and 'Kim Seobang Dress-up,' allow players to earn 10th-anniversary coins for use in special shops.
