Key information
Rockstar Games has launched a high-profile marketing campaign for Grand Theft Auto 6 by deploying a Goodyear airship over Miami. The aircraft, which features Vice City branding and the GTA VI logo, was spotted flying over the city, which serves as the primary inspiration for the game's setting.
The vehicle utilized is the Wingfoot Three, a rare operational airship with the registration N3A. According to RockstarINTEL, the airship was initially spotted at Goodyear's facilities in Akron, Ohio, before it began its journey toward Florida on October 12. It was subsequently observed over Miami on October 15.
This promotional choice references the series' history, as airships like the Atomic Blimp have appeared in previous titles such as GTA 5 and GTA Online. A similar aircraft was also featured in the initial trailer for the upcoming installment, further bridging the gap between the game's virtual world and the real-life city.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar Games has not yet announced a version for PC. The title is positioned as the most immersive evolution of the franchise to date, arriving over thirteen years after its predecessor.
