Cygames has officially launched a free demo for its upcoming action-adventure game, Houraku no Kuni, on October 16. The title is slated for release on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC platforms.
As the inaugural project from the CygamesEdge brand, which focuses on small to medium-scale development, the game follows a man who has lost everything. He encounters a cursed child that triggers the collapse of their world, and the two must cooperate to descend from a civilization built atop a world tree.
The demo highlights high-difficulty action mechanics centered specifically on the descent, with an estimated completion time between 15 and 30 minutes. Alongside the demo, the developer released a final trailer for the project.
Following the demo release, Cygames confirmed that the full version of Houraku no Kuni will be priced at 1,100 yen.
