The action RPG Torchlight: Infinite has officially launched its SS14 season, titled 'Beast of Talos,' on the 16th. This update introduces a new prison-themed gameplay loop where players act as wardens to suppress riots and capture fugitives.
The season brings significant content additions, including the 'Final One' hero trait for the character Youga and a new follower progression system. These updates are complemented by a companion support system and various optimizations to skills and overall gameplay mechanics to enhance build variety.
To support players, the developers collaborated with veteran player 'Time' to create a comprehensive 'New Trait Guide' series. This initiative provides tutorials and written walkthroughs covering everything from basic character progression to defeating the 'Time 7 Lord of the Realm' boss.
Concurrent with the launch, the 'Goddess Cup' event features nine streamers competing in a race to be the first to defeat the 'Time 7 Lord of the Realm.' This event aims to determine who will earn the title of 'Torchlight Goddess' during the new season.
